    1. Correct selection of current frequency

    The correct choice of the current frequency for induction heating is important, which will directly affect the thermal efficiency of the inductor and the heating efficiency of the blank. For example, the induction heating of the cylindrical blank, the ratio of the blank diameter D to the current penetration depth Δ, that is, D / △ = 2.5 ~ 5.5, the heating efficiency is better. When D / △ < 2.5, the heating efficiency of the blank decreases; when D / △ > 5.5, because the selected current frequency is too high, the heating time is prolonged, the heat loss is increased, the thermal efficiency is lowered, and the heating efficiency is also lowered. The cost of the inverter equipment used at the same time increases.

    2. Increase the terminal voltage of the inductor

    The increase of the voltage at the inductor terminal tends to increase the number of turns of the induction coil, thereby reducing the current on the induction coil, reducing the power loss of the inductor, improving the electrical efficiency of the inductor, and reducing the amount of water used to cool the induction coil. Increasing the voltage at the inductor is a good way to save energy by induction heating. Induction heating with low voltage and high current should be avoided as much as possible.

    3. Correct selection of current density of the induction coil

    When the current of the inductor is constant, the cross-sectional dimension of the pure copper tube of the induction coil should be controlled to control the current density within a certain range. The current density is large, the power loss of the induction coil is increased, and the electrical efficiency of the inductor is lowered. Of course, the cross-sectional size of the pure copper tube of the induction coil is also determined by the number of turns of the induction coil and the geometry of the inductor.

    4. Choose good heat and heat insulation materials

    The induction coil is lined with a heat-resistant layer and a heat-insulating layer, and a material having good heat-insulating properties is selected, and has a certain thickness, which has a good heat insulation effect, reduces heat transfer loss of the blank, and improves the thermal efficiency of the inductor.

    5. Make full use of the cooling water of the sensor

    The tap water of the cooling sensor should be recycled to save water resources, and the cooled water also has a certain temperature, which can be used for other applications to save heat.
