There are four types of induction melting furnace tilting methods: lifting tilting furnace, screw drive mechanism tilting furnace, worm gear mechanism tilting furnace and hydraulic device tilting furnace.

1.Lifting furnace

The hoisting type tilting furnace is a hoisting device on a crane or a special crane, which lifts the hoisting ring installed on the furnace frame to turn the furnace body over to complete the tapping process. This method is simple and suitable for tapping from a small capacity induction melting furnace.

2.Tilting furnace with screw drive mechanism

The motor is used to drive the screw lifting device through the reducer to complete the overturn of the furnace body and complete the tapping process. This method is suitable for small-capacity medium-frequency induction furnace tapping.

4.Hydraulic equipment tilting furnace

Utilizing a single-cylinder or double-cylinder hydraulic system, the furnace body is tilted through a connecting rod mechanism. The hydraulic tilting furnace mechanism consists of high-pressure pumping stations, pipes and switches, hydraulic piston cylinders and other components. This tilting furnace mechanism has the advantages of fast startup, smooth operation, compact structure, etc., and is an ideal tilting mechanism for large and medium induction melting furnaces. When installing, pay attention to maintain a proper distance between the high-pressure pumping station, the oil circuit and the furnace body to prevent fire due to steel leakage or steel slag splashing from the induction melting furnace.
