Why does the capacitance of the intermediate frequency furnace burn out?

The main reasons for the capacitor burnout of the intermediate frequency furnace are as follows:

1. In the absence of water, during the long-term use of the intermediate frequency electric furnace, it may cause scale in the cooling tube of the capacitor or the water inlet system may become clogged with impurities, causing the electric heating capacitor to overheat and burn out. Therefore, in the course of use, it is necessary to observe the flow of the cooling water of the electric heating capacitor. If there is abnormal flow, the corresponding measures should be taken;

2. The intermediate frequency voltage is too high. In the long-term use of the intermediate frequency electric furnace, if the intermediate frequency electric furnace is adjusted too high, it is higher than the rated voltage of the electric heating capacitor (the rated voltage of the electric heating capacitor is 750V, 1200V, etc.), which will cause electric heating. Capacitor overvoltage breakdown. If this happens, you need to lower the intermediate frequency voltage or replace the electric heating capacitor with a high pressure rating.

3. The cathode of the electric heating capacitor is grounded. If the electric heating capacitor is not well insulated during the use of the intermediate frequency electric furnace, the capacitor cathode grounding will cause the capacitor housing to break down. If this happens, the capacitor cabinet needs to be used. The insulation is reprocessed.
